Rob's approach to life has always been, "be the best that you can be!" So when he decided to make real estate his career, he was set on being part of the Remax organization. "Anything less is second best!", he boasts.
Rob has been in the real estate business for over 5 years now and nothing seems to hold him back! He joined Remax back in 2004 at the age of 24, being the youngest individual realtor at his office of over 200! Rob has won numerous awards from Remax over the years, including the Presidents Club Award in 2004, the Executive Club Award and the prestigious Outstanding Sales Achievement Award in 2005 and The 100% Award in 2006. He has been a "Top Ten Realtor" at Remax Performance (based on firm written deals - Individual Realtors), many times already and is part of The Million Dollar Club as well.
Rob not only knows how to sell, he is also responsible for all of the marketing for his business. He states, "Creating a brand for yourself and setting yourself apart from everyone else is one way to stay afloat in such a competitive and ever-growing business."
Since 2008, Rob has sponsored a local youth soccer team from his home community in Milton. The Milton Soccer Academy is pleased to have Rob as a Silver Sponsor. "I look forward to watching the games, getting to know the team members and handing out trophies to them all at the end of the season", says Rob. "They're all under the age of seven. They're at that age when they start learning about the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, Rob adds with excitement." Rob is also an ongoing volunteer for The Salvation Army. His volunteer work includes, Milton's Khi Community - Salvation Army Food Drive and Christmas Kettle and The Salvation Army Peel Family Shelter In Mississauga. "Giving back to our community and especially to the less fortunate is an honour and privilege," says Rob.
Born and raised in Mississauga and moving out to Milton in 2004, Rob is a strong believer in servicing your own community. That is why he has been focusing much of his business primarily in Milton. He also does business in Mississauga as well as Oakville, where he currently resides. Rob says, "Not only am I a Realtor but a homeowner & investor as well. It instills confidence in my clients when they know their realtor has invested in real estate too. We can relate in that way", Rob adds. "I own a few properties myself and I know how it feels to be both a buyer & seller in a real estate deal. I've been there!"
Rob graduated from Columbia Academy in Vancouver B.C. for Film & Television production back in 2000.  Due to his passion for film & video, he launched his own business back in 2005 that specialized in creative documentary wedding videos. "The need for something extraordinary, something different, is always there.  I like to think outside of the box and offer something of my own", he says. These days he plans to focus his creative abilities on feature films by launching his own production company in the near future. "It's about time...", he says with a deep sigh.
Rob's customer service and sales experience is quite extensive. His resume includes such companies as Scotiabank and TD Waterhouse. "Before real estate, I was being trained in the banking field for what was to come. I have learned alot of my interpersonal skills while working at such places", he says. "I love working with people and most importantly helping them achieve something. It is great to experience that with them", he adds with a smile.
Rob is a firm believer in physical health and well being. Rob's interests include golf, ice skating, skiing, swimming, music, reading, mountain biking, rollerblading and snowboarding. "Despite how hectic my schedule becomes, I always set aside time for working out at the gym atleast 4 days a week and practicing yoga regularly. It keeps me grounded while relieving stress and giving me the energy to work hard," He states. When asked about his best past time, Rob says, "Spending time with family and friends including my doberman is unbeatable!" Rob has been working with his brother & business partner, Ameil Gill who has successfully been working as a realtor for over 6 years and is a "Top Producer" at Remax Performance. With a combined experience of over 10 years and a huge client base across the GTA,  they have definitley proven that they are commited, hard working and professional realtors that will continue to grow with Remax behind them all the way!
